Material: Spring steel, zinc plated.
SL retainers are used to fix parts on shafts or bolts in axial direction. The large curvature results to a strong preload and eleminates tolerances for a snug fit. They are not so easy and quick to mount and to dismount like KL retainers, but the connection is much better secured against unwanted loosening.
